We are delighted to bring our California Wine Tasting to Edinburgh for the first time. Our friends in Scotland generally, and Edinburgh in particular, have always been receptive to the wines of the Golden State, so it is the perfect place to show a glorious selection from the huge diversity of regions, styles and variety California has to offer.



That California is a world-class wine producer is rarely in doubt, but where we might have sometimes fallen short is in communicating just how broad the offering is. There are vineyards the length and breadth of the state, and the winemakers reflect the California spirit: cool and laid-back, but also pioneering, creative, innovative. The resulting wines manifest a cornucopia of quality in every style imaginable, at every price point, from the popular to the headline-grabbing, and each one represents a lifestyle, a philosophy and a human story.



Californians are proud folk, and the more they can get out and show their pride and joy in the wines they make, the happier they are. Edinburgh is in for a treat.
